Notes

Runs locally in Docker, so Docker must be running. Registry tools work without an account. Workspace and run tools need TFE_TOKEN and TFE_ADDRESS for HCP Terraform or Terraform Enterprise, passed to docker with -e. Tools that change infrastructure stay off until ENABLE_TF_OPERATIONS is set. HashiCorp warns against untrusted MCP clients or models and asks you to review its output. Also listed as the terraform plugin in the Claude Code marketplace.
