No one-line setup. An admin turns the feature on and creates an External Client App in Salesforce Setup. You then add a custom connector in Claude (Customize, Connectors) with https://api.salesforce.com/platform/mcp/v1/<SERVER-NAME> and the app's consumer key; Salesforce says Claude Code inherits that connector. Meant for customers with Flex Credits, and usage may be billed. Agent actions follow each user's Salesforce permissions. Codex is not among the tested clients.
