Notes

Needs an Onshape account, a subscription to the FeatureScript MCP Server app in the Onshape App Store, and a browser authorize step. The 2026-09-08 article documents Claude Code only: claude mcp add --transport http onshape https://fs-mcp.labs.onshape.app/mcp, then /mcp to authenticate. On Windows it also adds C:\Users\USERNAME\.local\bin to PATH. No local CAD app is required. If your organization has a company API allocation, you can ask Claude to use it instead of your own. Subscription price and a code license are not stated on that page.
