Needs a Google Cloud project with Vertex AI and Application Default Credentials (gcloud auth application-default login). Calls bill to that project. The repo says it is not an officially supported Google product. Each server is added on its own: veo, omni, lyria, chirp3, gemini, nanobanana and avtool, which needs ffmpeg. Veo saves to Cloud Storage and needs a longer tool timeout. A genmedia Claude Code plugin in the same repo wires only the image server so far. MCP servers cannot be equipped in trials.
