npx freecad-mcp-setup setup

Notes

Needs FreeCAD 1.0 or newer, Node.js and Claude Code. The setup installs the AI Copilot workbench and registers the freecad MCP server, so it changes FreeCAD and Claude config. On Windows the first step is python -m pip install --user mcp. Start FreeCAD before asking Claude Code to connect. Python scripts run inside the open document. The repo has no LICENSE file; the freecad-mcp-setup npm package declares LGPL-2.1-or-later. No commits since August 2025.
