Needs a Cartesia account: run /mcp, pick cartesia and sign in, and a Cartesia MCP API key is made for your organization. Usage counts against your Cartesia credits; get_credit_usage needs an org admin. A local mode runs uvx cartesia-mcp with CARTESIA_API_KEY. Models are Sonic for speech and Ink for transcription. text_to_speech returns a download link that lasts 24 hours. Codex setup is not documented. The repo has no license file. Cartesia also ships coding skills in cartesia-ai/skills.
